Information we collect
When you order, create an account or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details and correspondence. Our website and payment services also process technical information, such as your IP address, browser details and session activity, to operate the store and help prevent fraud. If you submit a public review, the review and the display name you choose may be visible to other visitors.
How information is used and shared
We use customer information to process payments, deliver orders, provide order updates and support, manage refunds, maintain records and protect the website. Information needed for those purposes is handled by our authorised staff and relevant service providers, including WP Engine for hosting, Stripe for payments, Google Gmail for customer correspondence, and delivery providers for fulfilment.
Payments
Card details are entered through Stripe. Our store receives payment confirmations and limited payment-method information, such as a card brand and last digits, rather than storing full card numbers or security codes. If you choose a saved-payment service such as Link, its provider handles the saved information. Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its payment, security, cookie and international-processing practices.
Cookies and storage
The store uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as your shopping cart, account session and checkout. Payment providers may use their own technologies for authentication and fraud prevention. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking them may affect checkout or account features.
Order and account information is held in our hosted store, and correspondence and payment records are also held in the relevant email and payment systems. We use access controls and the security features of those services. Information is retained for order administration, customer support and applicable accounting or legal record requirements; some records may need to be retained after an account is closed.
Overseas processing
Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. Provider information is available in Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Access, correction and complaints
Email brushheadau@gmail.com if you would like access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or wish to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records. Deletion requests are subject to records we must retain for lawful purposes. We will review your request and respond. If your concern is unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction.
